On a chilly Thursday evening on October 8, the Rogers Family Room at CRC was bursting with people seated for a delectable meal.
It was the annual CRC Thanksgiving Community Dinner.
Community members happily enjoyed a delicious meal of creamy mashed potatoes, hearty vegetables, turkey with homemade stuffing, and apple pie.
The atmosphere was festive and celebratory. One community member, visiting for the first time, marveled at the sight of delicious food, everyone gathered together, and the people who helped to make it possible. Over 350 meals were served!
Every year, CRC hosts a Thanksgiving meal with the support of Rosedale United Church and their team of dedicated volunteers, under the leadership of Jennifer Wootton.
This year, parents from the Rosedale congregation also brought their children to help serve food.
Make sure you join us next year!
