The Companion of CRC was established in 2014 and acknowledges those people whose extraordinary gifts of time, money, or expertise have made a significant difference to the work of CRC at 40 Oaks.

A Companion of CRC could be:

  • long-time volunteer whose contribution of time and energy to CRC is substantial,
  • an individual donor who has either demonstrated long-time support of CRC or tremendous energy to CRC,
  • a champion of CRC who has significantly raised the profile of CRC in the wider community of decision-makers and donors,
  • a past CRC board, honorary board, or staff member, who has demonstrated exemplary service.

Call for Nominations

If you know of someone who fits this description, nominate them by completing the nomination form (available as either a MS Word file or Adobe PDF) and send it by Friday, March 24, 2017, at 5 p.m. to:

Only nominees, accompanied with a completed nomination form, will be considered. Please be as specific as possible when completing your nomination form, so that the CRC Nominating Committee’s deliberations and decisions can be fully informed and what you write can be used towards the citation of those chosen to be a Companion of CRC.

Deadline: Friday, March 24, 2017, at 5 p.m.

The number of appointments made each year is limited to five. Not everyone nominated is selected. To avoid disappointment and to respect the privacy of the people consulted, the Nominating Committee keeps nominations confidential, and we ask the nominators and others involved do the same.
